Hi! I’m Raquel, a physiotherapist specialized in pelvic perineology. I focus on the treatment of various pathologies of the pelvic floor, abdomen, and genital area, as well as specialized obstetric physiotherapy. Together with my colleague Ana, I run Centro Axarquía, this wonderful space. I am an inquisitive and non-conformist person, and I haven’t rested until I created and launched the Physiotherapy that I believe in. Currently, I combine two main roles: attending and supporting my patients in consultation and leading an exceptional team at this center, ensuring that each session is excellent and every process we begin is a success.

Hi! I’m Ana, a physiotherapist specialized in physical prevention and readaptation. As a sports enthusiast, my field had to be injury recovery and helping my patients return to their sports activities. As co-director of Centro Axarquía alongside Raquel, I try to approach treatments in a personalized and holistic way. Thanks to the different specialties at the center and our great professionals, we can address cases in a multidisciplinary manner, significantly enhancing the quality of our services.

Hi! I’m Inés, a physiotherapist specialized in neurorehabilitation. I focus on the personalized evaluation and treatment of individuals affected by lesions in the central nervous system (Stroke, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, among others). The goal of my treatments is to recover the highest possible degree of functionality. To achieve this, I work on aspects such as spasticity and rigidity, sensory alterations, balance, and coordination to recover gait, strength, and postural transfers. I also teach Pilates and therapeutic exercise at Centro Axarquía, and I love using my knowledge and creativity in these sessions to help my patients improve every day while having fun.

Hi, I’m Iván Mejías, a rehabilitation specialist and personal trainer. I focus on treating injuries through movement for recovery, and as a trainer, I conduct personal or small group training sessions, as well as teach Pilates for individuals with or without pathologies or injuries. I perform biomechanical assessments of human movement and use various tools, including breathing techniques, neurological methods, in addition to movement and strength exercises, to aid in injury recovery and, consequently, help individuals achieve their goals. My motivation is to help all my patients, making their daily lives easier and assisting them in achieving their training goals by applying all my knowledge in practice.
